Job Description

We are looking forGeneral PsychologistsRegistered AHPRAorAccredited Mental Health Social WorkersAASW who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services includingWorkers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Medicare clients in Bundaberg QLD.

This is a part-time (1 to 4 days) and a hybrid role.

As a clinician working with Access Psych, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of work-related injuries, stress, pain management and other occupational issues. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients. Be your best in a supportive team environment while avoiding the risk of burnout or clinical fatigue. In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case mangers and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;
  • Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Joining our team of mental health professionals is straightforward. But first, you need to meet a few mandatory requirements:

  • General Psychologist Registered with AHPRA; or
  • AccreditedMental Health Social Worker–AASW;
  • Willingness to obtain relevant accreditations including NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and WorkSafe Victoria accreditations;
  • You have permanent residency in Australia;
  • You are passionate about improving lives through work and health;
  • You want to part of a dynamic, social and hard-working team.
  • Interest and willingness to work with workers compensation clients.
