About the Role: We have an exciting opening for a Machine Operator in our Rubber Department located at our Augusta location. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you:

• Introduce charges of metal into the furnace using mechanical charge conveyor
• Charge furnaces in proper rotation. Set and adjust temperature settings based on the jobs being run. Add phos-copper to furnace as prescribed. Launder metal to pouring furnace to maintain proper metal levels
• Log furnace charge data as required
• Monitor furnace control panel readings to ensure prescribed procedures are followed.
• Assist in the repairing and rebuilding of furnaces and performing routine repairs on own. Pull furnace samples for lab and pour wedge molds as scheduled.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
