Type: Contract (12 months, with possible extension)

We're seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to join a well-established architecture team on a large-scale transformation program. This role will play a key part in shaping the design and governance of enterprise data platforms, working closely with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure scalable, forward-thinking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture practices and standards.
  • Provide oversight on platform design and integration (particularly with Snowflake and Databricks).
  • Support the alignment of solutions with enterprise data strategy and roadmap.

Ideal Background

  • Proven experience in solution architecture within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of modern data platforms and cloud-based data ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with hybrid delivery models (Agile/Waterfall).
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation needs.
  • Background in large-scale, data-driven projects across multiple domains.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in regulated or infrastructure-rich environments.
  • Exposure to the Australian energy or utilities space (beneficial but not essential).
