About The Role...

Reporting to the GM Finance, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of APG's accounts receivable and payable functions. With a wide variety of tasks, there will never be a dull day, some of which include:

  • Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past-due accounts, referring accounts to collection agencies, and sending follow-ups
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts
  • Update payables/receivables by monitoring and coordinating all processing performed on orders that are delivered daily, including transactions like bank remittances
  • Monitor collection periods and ensures team delivery of all debtors and payments
  • Prepare recommendations and reports to identify issues, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve processes
  • Develop and improve processes and procedures to reduce errors and improve customer success outcomes
  • Develop the accounts department through regular training and development
  • Maintain accurate records and control reports

About You...
  • Experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivable roles
  • Prior experience with managing teams in a large organisational environment (consolidated revenue of $150 million+ annually) is required
  • Experience with a variety of accounting and ERP systems (highly desirable)
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
