2026 Haematology Clinical Fellow

Join the CALHN Haematology Training Programme as a Haematology Clinical Fellow to gain advanced clinical expertise in haematology. Subspecialty focus options include AML/MDS, multiple myeloma, thrombosis and haemostasis, lymphoma, or CML/MPN. You'll provide outpatient and inpatient services with expert supervision and have opportunities to initiate and oversee original research and participate in clinical trial programmes.

You'll work with leading experts and have access to an extensive clinical database that supports publications and research projects. Collaborate with researchers at SAHMRI and universities in areas such as AML/MDS, CML, ALL and Myeloma. • Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent, with General Registration as a Medical Practitioner; awards of FRACP/FRCPA (joint haematology trainees) or FRACP (clinical haematology trainees). Candidates without a fellowship but in final years of training may be considered.
• Experience: Proven experience in clinical haematology, capable at a senior registrar level and ready to be a junior consultant.
• Skills: Strong communication and a reliable approach to patient care and teamwork.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of laboratory and clinical haematology to support patient assessment and management.
