Welcome to RBA's Technical Business Analyst Virtual Experience. Starting your career at Australia's central bank will give you the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of all Australians. Our two-year Graduate Development Program offers comprehensive training, coaching and development in a supportive environment. It allows you to undertake meaningful work from day one and to apply the knowledge acquired at university in challenging real-world situations.

This Virtual Experience Program is free for all students.
When you complete the Virtual Experience Program, you'll earn a digital badge and certificate you can share on Linkedin and include on your resume.
Throughout the program, you'll learn and develop deep insights into what it is actually like to work as a Technical Business Analyst at Reserve Bank of Australia. Apply your business knowledge to a real-world problem & gain practical experience and knowledge to draw upon in interviews.

- Creating agile user stories
- Documenting business requirements
- Process modelling
Module 1: Data Visualisation hours)
Use a data visualisation tool to analyse firewall request data and clearly visualise any trends.
Module 2: Agile User Stories (45 minutes - 1.5 hours)
Create agile user stories for the different stakeholders involved in the firewall request process.
Module 3: Business Requirements Document (30 minutes - 1 hour)
Create an abridged Business Requirements Document that includes a prioritised list of high-level functional and non-functional business requirements.
Module 4: Process Modelling (30 minutes - 1 hour)
Draft a simple process model that outlines the 'to-be' Firewall Request Process.
