About The Role – 12 month Fixed-term Contract
Reporting to the State Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide professional support, coordination, and administrative services to the State Manager of Victoria and Tasmania and their broader team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced, varied environment, is able to work independently, and has a high attention to detail.
Some of the responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Collaborate with the State Manager to manage and maintain the State Manager's schedule.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and functions.
- Prepare agenda and business papers, attendance, and recording of minutes with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Arrange corporate travel, lodging, and develop itineraries.
- Represent Country Banking Australia by welcoming visitors, monitoring and reviewing correspondence; responding to or distributing questions, emails, and meeting requests in a timely and professional manner. Answer and manage incoming calls or email communication.
- Provide administrative support to the Country Banking Team, which may include diary and calendar management, coordination of meetings, events, functions, and associated preparation of agenda, papers, and minutes in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and utilise marketing database to produce reports and associated correspondence as required and identify and target prospects.
- Assist with the internal marketing department to ensure consistent implementation of Country Banking events and marketing initiatives.
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant/Team Assistant/Team Coordinator or related role providing executive support and assistance.
- Experience in organising workshops and meetings, including preparation and distribution of professional papers, presentations, or reports.
- Experience in conference and event coordination.
- Experience in travel logistics and scheduling.
- The ability to manage multiple initiatives, resources, and stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in the use of MS – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
