Overview

HealthShare NSW is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Food Services Assistant to support patient meals and related duties in the hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Order taking
  • Meal assembly
  • Meal preparation and distribution of patient meals
  • Recording intake
  • Dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties
  • Waste management

Eligibility Requirements
  • Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description
  • Australian work rights required (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles open to Australian citizens and permanent residents; temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa
  • NSW Health Category A position requires immunisation and TB screening. Upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with vaccination evidence during application
  • External preferred candidates may be required to complete a physical pre-employment health assessment at no cost; employment subject to successful completion of all pre-employment checks
