Section: ACT Pathology

Responsibilities
  • Work in the Molecular Pathology laboratory, which detects microorganisms by identifying their DNA or RNA using techniques like PCR (polymerase chain reaction) to enable rapid, sensitive, and specific diagnosis of infectious diseases from bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens.
  • Be scheduled to work in the evening, on public holidays and/or weekends.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
  • Supply certified copy of qualifications.
  • Provide a minimum of two referees willing to be contacted.
