Enrolled Nurse Graduate Nurse Program 2026/2027

Enrolled Nurse – Graduate Nurse Program 2026/2027 is a full-time and/or part-time position (0.8 FTE) for recently graduated Enrolled Nurses. The program runs for 18 months and offers 3 rotations throughout the year. The role is based at the Mater Hospital, North Sydney.
Responsibilities- Participate in the Enrolled Nurse Graduate Nurse Program with 3 rotations across the 18-month duration
- Engage in orientation to departments and attend regular protected teaching time
- Engage in graduate study days and follow an Individualised Learning Plan
- Receive support from Educators and experienced staff throughout the program
- Have completed a TAFE Diploma in nursing, or are due to complete prior to the start date
- Must not be studying or commencing further study during the graduate year
- Meet all requirements and eligibility to apply for National Nursing Registration (APHRA)
- Provide all required documentation via the Mater Workday system
- Provide documentation supporting Australian Residency status (residency or citizenship)
- Overseas applicants must provide English language test documentation or booking evidence at interview (if applicable)
- Be able to undertake 18-month full-time or part-time employment
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- Accept professional accountability for own actions and be aware of personal limitations
- Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide person-centred care
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development

Based at the Mater Hospital, North Sydney. One of Sydney's premier private hospitals with close proximity to train stations and bus routes. Specialties include obstetrics, orthopaedics, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, respiratory and vascular medicine, ENT, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
