Company Description: Drive is Nine's brand targeting automotive enthusiasts. Working with industry leaders, you will help shape the future of automotive in Australia through authoritative reviews, detailed comparisons, and innovative commerce solutions. 2025 is an exciting year for the Drive Marketplace team, which aims to become Australia's No.2 automotive marketplace. The team values collaboration, hard work, and fun, with a strong passion for the automotive industry.

Role Overview: We seek a talented Digital Product Designer to enhance our digital products at Drive, an iconic Australian brand with a monthly online audience of 3 million. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, user research, data insights, and AI integration. You will work under the Principal Product Designer, collaborating with a high-performing team. This position is based in our South Melbourne office.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate ideas into interactive prototypes for testing and refinement.
  • Conduct and analyze user research to identify needs and pain points.
  • Use data analytics to inform design decisions and measure impact.
  • Explore AI integration into product workflows and user experiences.
  • Create high-fidelity UI designs, systems, and components that are accessible and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers for seamless product launches.
  • Support marketing and content design assets.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years in digital product design with a strong portfolio.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and passion for user-centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves: Experience with user research platforms, analytics tools, rapid prototyping, data analytics, and AI integration. Automotive experience is not required but a love for cars is a plus.
