About the Role

The Food & Beverage Attendant ensures guests receive excellent service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a welcoming environment across various settings including bars, restaurants, room service, and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Describe menu items, answer questions, take orders, and note special requests or dietary needs.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation.
  • Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including clearing and resetting tables.
  • Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery.
  • Process payments accurately and handle guest requests professionally.
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials or beverages to enhance guest experience.
  • Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper food handling and cleanliness standards.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverages, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
