Remote is seeking a Project Manager to join the team in ASD. The Project Manager will lead and manage the ICT project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, including the ability to produce high-quality project documentation, lead project implementation and delivery, and engage effectively with stakeholders. The project involves the implementation of ICT in partnership with internal and external delivery providers (RFQ-HA-29-2025).

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project activities, inputs, and outputs in accordance with Department practices, methods, and standards.
  2. Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  3. Identify and manage risks and opportunities, incorporating them into planning, decision-making, and priority setting.
  4. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, using influencing and negotiation skills.
  5. Analyze project performance, develop strategies to achieve outcomes, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  6. Develop, maintain, and prepare project documents, reports, and submissions for higher delegates and committees.
  7. Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
  8. Qualifications include AIPM CPPM and/or CPSPM Certification, and one or more of the following:
    • Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
    • Diploma of Project Management
    • Advanced Diploma of Project Management
  9. Required Knowledge/Experience:
  10. 3-10 years of project-related experience or as a Project Manager.
  11. Ability to apply project management methodologies such as Prince2 and PMBOK.
  12. Proficiency in using project management tools.
