We are a group of three distinct hospitality venues : Caffè Amatrice and Amatrice Rooftop in Cremorne, and Sebastian Restaurant in Williamstown. Our passion is creating memorable experiences. We are seeking a creative and strategic leader to drive an increase in customer numbers, and elevate our presence in the Melbourne dining scene.

The Role

Are you a creative marketer with a genuine love for the hospitality industry?

We are looking for a hands-on and creative Marketing & Communications Manager to be the driving force behind the marketing and communications for all three of our venues. This pivotal role is perfect for a professional who thrives on variety and managing a network of creative specialists rather than a large in-house team.

The primary mission is to conceptualise and execute compelling, multi-channel campaigns that not only fill our seats but also tell the unique stories of each venue. This role offers the autonomy to innovate and see the direct, tangible impact of your creative vision on our businesses.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning : Develop and own the 12-month marketing and communications calendar and the annual marketing budget.

Communications & Revenue Growth : Execute innovative campaigns to increase bookings and enhance our brand reputation across all three sites. Success will be measured by metrics such as incremental venue revenue and blended ROI.

Brand & Content Leadership : Act as the central guardian of our brand identities, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice and visual presence. You will lead the creative direction for events and content, translating our unique identity into measurable outcomes. You'll also proactively manage relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and community partners to generate positive earned media.

Stakeholder Coordination : Be the central point of contact to source and coordinate a network of external specialists and our in-house venue teams, to bring our campaigns to life.

What You'll Bring

A love for the hospitality industry - hands-on experience in a multi-site hospitality environment is essential.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing or communications role.

Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering measurable campaigns and managing budgets.

An empathetic and effective leader who can get the best out of a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency with platforms like Talkbox (or similar), Trello (or similar), Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Business Centre.

Experience in PR / traditional media relations is an added benefit.

We operate with a hybrid model, split between our venues as required to deliver campaigns, with a minimum of 1 day in each venue per week. We value collaboration and hands-on presence to truly understand and elevate each venue's unique brand, and to ensure our brand and marketing standards are maintained.

Note : we recommending commuting to Cremorne by public transport as there is very limited car parking available nearby. There is ample car parking available in Williamstown.
