About St Mary's War Memorial School

St Mary's War Memorial Primary School is a Catholic co-educational school in WestWyalong, where students and their families are at the heart of the school. WestWyalong is located at the crossroads of the Newell and Mid Western highways. The Riverina region of southern NSW offers country charm. The town was founded in the gold rush era and has a strong agricultural heritage.

About the Role

The Classroom Teacher is a key influence in students' development, providing quality teaching that inspires excellence and curiosity. You will design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse needs, fostering both academic growth and personal development. By creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, you empower students to reach their potential and develop skills that serve them beyond the classroom. Your role involves developing engaging programs, maintaining high expectations, and building strong relationships that support students' well-being and success.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
