The Company

Our client is a well-respected and long-standing Tier 2 national construction company, who have over 50 years of industry experience delivering high-quality projects across a diverse range of sectors. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their expert team and contribute to the ongoing success of their projects.

The Role

• Contribute to site meetings and work collaboratively with upper management to ensure
• Manage the engineer team assisting setting out individual responsibilities, assistance with development and ensuring overall team performance
• Provide leadership in health, safety, quality and environmental management
• Review project documents including estimates, design drawing, proposals and contracts per management in delivering structural and fitout components of a large multi-billion dollar development.
• Stakeholder and resource management - Ensuring relevant labour is on site to deliver key project objectives, and ensuring quality is maintained throughout.
  
  

Experience/Qualifications Required

• A stable track record of delivering projects in commercial construction in a management role (minimum of 5 years)
• A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
• Strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac and MS suites.
• Experience in managing large teams in a Tier 2 major project environment
• Compliance with legislative and policy requirements
• Experience In education, defence, retail, mulitres and industrial all highly regarded
• Strong tenure is a must
