GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must hold a relevant trade certificate
- Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential
- Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Deliver
- Current Standard 11, a current open drivers' licence, and relevant coal mining certifications
- Work safely and comply with the Site Safety, Health and Management System
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Auto Electrician -
- Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures
- Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high standard
- Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
- Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring, and testing of equipment
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
- Refrigerated handling license advantageous
- Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
- Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs, and proper diagnostics, including familiarity with Computer systems like JDE, OEM systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi, and Liebherr
