In this role, you will apply your specialist knowledge of contemporary learning and teaching to design, develop, and review student-centred curricula that inspire engagement and foster success. Your contributions will extend to institutional projects to advance CQUniversity as a leader in integrated and innovative education across its distributed campus network. You will collaborate with academic staff to enhance the quality of learning and teaching resources and activities while aligning with regulatory requirements for tertiary education.

You will also engage in scholarship and professional activities to advance learning and teaching practices and provide educators with proactive, tailored professional development. This includes promoting principles of effective learning, facilitating authentic and collaborative experiences, and supporting the implementation of retention strategies to improve student outcomes. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and educational excellence with your ability to foster collaboration, communicate effectively, and mentor junior staff.

Position Requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a discipline area.
  • A qualification in the field of education.
  • An understanding of current professional, educational trends and educational issues in both higher education and the VET sector and the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues across the University.
  • Familiarity with tertiary education regulatory bodies and the ability to implement into curricula design.
  • Hold a current qualification or be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
