Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are recruiting Home Care Support Workers for multiple positions in Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas including:

Caringbah, Caringbah South, Lilli Pilli, Port Hacking, Bundeena, Engadine, Heathcote, Maianbar, Waterfall, Woronora, Woronora Heights, Yarrawarrah, Gymea, Kareela, Sylvania, Sylvania Heights, Sylvania Waters, Yowie Bay, Miranda, Cronulla, Kurnell, Taren Point, Woolooware, Bonnet Bay, Como, Jannali, Kirrawee, Oyster Bay, Alfords Point, Bangor, Barden Ridge, Illawong, Loftus, Menai, and Sutherland.

You will report to the Sutherland branch and are expected to travel across Sutherland Shire and St George areas as part of your role.

  • Hourly rate of $ $34.16 (dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

Your Role

  • Assist with home support tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide transportation and personal care, including assisting customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, and feeding
  • Build relationships with clients and their families, conduct client observations, and participate in ongoing support and training
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure safety for yourself and customers

Key Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
  • Willingness to travel across all suburbs serviced by the branch

We welcome applicants with experience and/or qualifications in:

  • Disability Support Worker
  • Community Services / Mental Health Worker
  • Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
  • Bachelor of Social Work / Nursing

You could be an experienced Support Worker or new to the industry, coming from customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality backgrounds.
