About the role:

We are looking for 2 x night shift, experienced HC Drivers based out of Canberra.

Applicants will commence/conclude their run out of the ACT (Majura Park) and all runs will include 2 overnights as a minimum.

*Please do not apply for this position if you are not available for night shift as we are not looking for alternatives at this stage.

A typical run commences from the ACT and could include Barnawartha, Sydney, Griffith/Hanwood or Melbourne.

Applicants must be available for overnights and weekends, please consider this before applying as applicants will not be progressed unless they can accommodate this roster.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with customers with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines
  • Completion of all paperwork on time and in full
  • Driving in a time-sensitive environment
  • Refueling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment
  • Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays

Your skills and experience

  • HC licence minimum (experience is essential)
  • Minimum of 12 months good driving record

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check, national crime check and have the right to work in Australia.
