Join our Logan Wellbeing Team as an Advanced Peer Support Worker and make a meaningful difference supporting carers and families in mental health recovery.
Responsibilities- Provide recovery-oriented, person-centred peer support to carers, families, and significant others of mental health service consumers.
- Share your lived experience to educate, advocate, and empower carers through individual and group support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations to enhance carer support services.
- Facilitate psychoeducation programs, support groups, and contribute to service development and training.
- Have personal lived experience as a carer for someone with mental health or substance use challenges.
- Skilled communicator able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of recovery principles and experience delivering peer-led education or support groups.
- Commitment to professional boundaries, ongoing learning, and advocating for carers' voices.

Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services provide inpatient, hospital-based and community mental health and community alcohol and drug services for all age groups across a number of campuses.
