Our client is a specialist risk and compliance consultancy that partners with leading organisations across manufacturing, construction, automotive, industrial, and technology sectors. About the Role
As the Senior HSEQ Auditor you will lead high-impact audits and assurance services across diverse client organisations. This role is perfect for a technically skilled professional with deep expertise in HSEQ systems, ISO standards, and Australian legislation. You will plan, execute, and report on audits, set business-wide audit standards, and provide clients with practical risk mitigation and compliance strategies.
Key elements of the role but not limited to are:
- Lead audits against ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and client-specific HSEQ frameworks)
- Conduct risk assessments & legal compliance reviews (incl. hygiene, noise, hazardous materials)
- Deliver clear, actionable audit reports & represent clients during certification audits
- Mentor junior consultants & help shape audit standards (ISO 19011)
- Stay ahead of industry trends & regulatory changes
- Degree in OHS, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Lead Auditor certifications (Exemplar Global or IRCA) ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; ISO a bonus)
- Strong HSEQ systems, auditing and compliance expertise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse industries
