The role youll contribute:

This role is for an Analyst position supporting the Workforce Management function, focused on establishing and managing controls to ensure efficient workforce productivity. The primary objective of the Workforce Management function will be to regulate workforce productivity at several hospital campus and outpatient service locations across AdventHealth Central Florida Division South (CFD-S). This objective will be met through the following levers:

Implementation of a position request review process in which departments will be required to submit formal requests for approval to post job positions and applications.

Creation of workforce productivity toolkits that campus departments can leverage to optimize staff utilization and implement best practices.

Conduct trainings to educate department leaders on the use of the toolkits.

The Analyst will be responsible for supporting these activities via detailed data analysis of historical and current payroll and productivity data, assisting in the creation of training materials and presentations, and developing progress updates and well-written communications for campuses and senior leadership. The Analyst is expected to have experience in analysis of large, complex datasets, be proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, and have strong business communication skills. As the Workforce Management Department becomes established, the Analyst should expect to be flexible in their day-to-day activities and apply critical thinking to adapt to a variety of challenges.

The value youll bring to the team:

  • Supports position request process focused on setting requirements to approve hiring requests from campus departments for new and existing roles.

  • Completes initial review of campus department position requests and escalates issues to Workforce Management Director, as necessary.

  • Conducts follow-up with department leaders to receive clarification on position requests, as need.

  • Ensures queue of position requests are processed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree in related field.

  • 2 years of complex data analysis and/or related work experience
