Personal Care Worker - Community Aged Care

We have a permanent part-time opportunity in community aged care, providing personal support for our clients based in Coffs Harbour and Grafton. Ideally you will be available Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

As a valued member of our community aged care team, you'll provide personal care and support that helps older Australians live independently in their own homes. You'll be backed by a passionate, experienced team who are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care – and who will support you every step of the way.

About the role

Our Home Care Workers support our clients with personalised services and meaningful activities that promote their health, happiness, independence, and individual lifestyle choices. These include:

  • Personal care assistance, such as showering and personal hygiene needs
  • Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, shopping, house cleaning and meal preparation)
  • Social connection and companionship

What do we need from you?
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent qualification
  • Own vehicle and comprehensive vehicle insurance
  • Australian Driver licence
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Up to date Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Experience in care role highly regarded
