Role / Department :

We are seeking a Senior Client Solutions Consultant for the Global Family and Private Investment Offices group. The successful candidate will demonstrate Northern Trust's technology and systems to current and prospective clients, including single family offices, private investment companies, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include training clients and internal partners on in-house systems, developing and managing new solutions, and acting as a liaison between Change, Client Service, and Development teams.

This position is available in Melbourne or Singapore.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned client relationships, providing high-touch service through proactive engagement.
  • Lead training sessions with partners and clients at Northern Trust and on client sites.
  • Participate in management meetings, presentations, and sales demonstrations as needed.
  • Manage the release of new products and system updates, providing feedback to product teams.
  • Identify technology or reporting gaps for clients, initiate projects, and monitor implementation to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, change management, and development teams.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for custom reports and applications.
  • Stay informed about bank products, technology, and services to meet client needs.
  • Utilize Northern Trust data for client conversations.
  • Travel occasionally to visit clients or prospects, sometimes on short notice.
  • Develop expertise in the family office technology landscape and related systems.

Skills / Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of the securities industry, gained in custody, fund accounting, wealth, or investment management environments.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proactive work ethic, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage client expectations, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
  • Organizational, analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Experience in problem solving within systems environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
  • Ability to think clearly and execute with limited information.
  • College or university degree and relevant work experience; industry qualifications preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in master trust, custody, digital products, or client servicing.
