About the role

We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. The System Technical Analyst is a key driver in enhancing technology efficiency and productivity within Member Services. You support technical onboarding, coordinate testing, manage application maintenance, investigate system failures, and deliver technical support.

By collaborating, delivering cost-effective technology solutions, and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, the System Technical Analyst optimises technology resources to maximise productivity and effectiveness.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Perform user acceptance and production verification testing activities, ensuring successful implementation of technical and business-focused solutions.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of relevant applications, aligning them with business requirements and optimizing their performance to drive productivity.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to validate the quality of services delivered, ensuring they meet the defined service acceptance criteria and desired standards.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of system failures, identifying trends, and implementing proactive measures to minimize critical incidents and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support relevant onboarding including access requests and co-ordination with the Technology team and Member Services to drive effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate upcoming technology changes and implemented changes in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Manage relevant changes to the Telephony system for Member Services, including user access, permissions, and IVR changes.
  • Provide technology tools, services, and education that enhance business productivity in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, consultation, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to effectively address complex technical issues and present recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities, and re-prioritize where required to meet outcomes and strategic objectives.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills that provide meaningful solutions which maximise customer satisfaction.
  • An ability to lead and mentor other staff members.
  • A high degree of initiative and motivation.
