Key Responsibilities:
  • KOL & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders in your assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Scientific Excellence: Provide high-level scientific communication on current and future products to healthcare professionals and internal teams.
  • Support New Launches: You'll be an integral part of the team supporting the launch of cutting-edge therapies.
  • Education & Training: Lead the development and delivery of medical education programs, symposia, roundtable meetings, and advisory boards.
  • Medical Insights: Regularly communicate insights from KOL interactions to inform and refine medical strategies and tactics.
  • Rare Disease Focus: Contribute to the development of early access and compassionate use programs in response to high unmet medical needs in rare diseases.
  • Clinical Support: Provide support for clinical research programs, including investigator-sponsored studies and registries, in compliance with GCP and local regulations.
What We Are Looking For:
  • MSL Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) or similar role within pharma. Strong experience in rare diseases is a plus.
  • Therapeutic Expertise: Experience in fields like neurology, nephrology, or transplant ology are desirable.
  • Advanced Scientific Qualifications: An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in a scientific discipline is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage with KOLs, HCPs, and internal teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: You must be a collaborative team member who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for Impact: A deep passion for rare diseases, with the drive to improve patient lives.
  • Location: Based in Sydney or Melbourne, with significant national travel across ANZ.
