This is a permanent Adelaide-based role where you'll join a collaborative, forward-looking team. It's an opportunity to take ownership of technical leadership, drive delivery across multiple products, and have a visible impact on a company that values innovation and growth.

The Role
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, setting standards for quality and delivery.
  • Balance hands-on coding with higher-level management – guiding your team and earning their respect through technical credibility.
  • Manage project priorities across both new development and support streams.
  • Design and oversee large, complex software projects.
  • Collaborate with testing and release teams to ensure smooth product rollouts.
  • Report on project progress to senior internal and external stakeholders.

This opportunity is ideal for:

  • An experienced Development Manager looking for a visible leadership role; or
  • A strong Senior Developer who is ready to step up into management. If you can demonstrate mentoring ability, technical depth, and leadership potential, you'll be supported through a probationary period with a clear pathway to full management responsibility.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years' software development experience.
  • 4+ years in a leadership or management capacity (or clear potential to step into it).
  • Strong coding ability – C# and SQL Server are essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Desirable: ASP.NET, XML, and software design experience.
