Graduate Accountant role supporting financial activities with rotation across finance areas at Sydney Opera House, a globally recognized cultural icon.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting financial activities across treasury, accounts receivable, accounts payable, management accounting, business support, month-end, and financial reporting.
  • Rotating through three finance focus areas over approximately two years: financial services, reporting, business analysis, and financial planning and modelling.
  • Partnering with finance and non-finance staff to deliver key business outcomes.
  • Receiving mentoring and development from experienced finance professionals.
About You

What you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, forecasting, budgetary principles, and business planning processes.
  • Progress towards or readiness to commence a professional accounting qualification (preferably CA or CPA).
  • Interest in developing skills in financial and management accounting, business partnering, and reporting with willingness to rotate across portfolios.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and networking skills for maintaining organisational relationships on financial matters.
  • Sound writing and report generation skills with intermediate Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary of $79,989 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
