Overview

Community Occupational Therapist role based in South West Sydney with Amplar Health. This is a fixed‑term contract for parental leave until Nov 2026, with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Responsibilities
  • Work across South West Sydney including Padstow, Hurstville and Milperra, providing OT services in community and residential aged care settings.
  • Support clients to remain independent at home for Home Care Package clients, including home assessment, equipment prescription and home modifications.
  • Contribute to Rehab in the Home program, focusing on post‑orthopaedic surgery recovery.
  • Support clients after hospitalisation through the Hospital in the Home program, including general surgeries.
About you

You are a fully registered AHPRA Occupational Therapist, ideally with experience in community and residential aged care settings and rehabilitation. You are comfortable working independently and providing support to individuals in a variety of care environments.

As a mobile Community OT (you provide your own vehicle; KM reimbursement is available), ideally you live in South West Sydney and are willing to travel to clients' homes. You have a patient‑centred approach and are passionate about better health.
