About us

NLS is NSW's number-one provider of Dance Instructors/Teachers for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils. We have positions all over Brisbane and associated suburbs. We are looking for Dance Instructors/Teachers to join us in delivering amazing dance programs across Brisbane. All coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. We are looking for someone with a good level of experience and willing to give children a thorough experience through Dance.

Schedule

We have morning (6:30 AM - 9:00 AM), in-school time (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and after-school (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM) positions available. Both midweek and weekend work are available.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Sports coaching/playing experience
  • PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
  • Child Protection Training (Preferred)
  • First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Coaching
  • Attend and conduct all training sessions
  • Attend and facilitate all competition games (if required)
  • Be reliable and organized
Additional Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of standard coaching practices
  • Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents/guardians
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
  • Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
