Penola Catholic College is excited to offer a fantastic leadership opportunity for a passionate and engaging Advanced Learning Programs Coordinator to join our innovative and contemporary teaching environment.

The Professional Practice Coach is responsible for improving student learning through coaching and cultivating a differentiated culture of professional learning. This will be achieved by fostering engaging professional observations and dialogues, and by developing professional internal networks to enhance teaching pedagogy and practices in alignment with the College's strategic direction. The coach will also report on the program's progress.

The Professional Practice Coach will provide regular and clear reports outlining the overall learning needs of teaching staff, identifying areas where whole-school development is required, and highlighting areas of improvement and success across the College.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practices, understanding how students learn best, and possess a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You should be registered or able to register with VIT.

You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

Penola Catholic College is a co-educational institution for students from years 7-12, with two campuses in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The Glenroy campus caters to years 7 and 8, while the Broadmeadows campus serves years 9 to 12, with approximately 1,400 students enrolled.
