I'm partnering with a leading organisation in the gaming and entertainment sector that is investing heavily in strengthening its Financial Crime and Compliance capability. As part of this exciting transformation, they're looking to appoint a General Manager Financial Crime (AMLCO) in a newly created executive role.

This is a career-defining opportunity for an experienced Financial Crime leader to take ownership of a critical function and shape the future of AML/CTF compliance within a dynamic and highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the organisation's AML/CTF program, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  2. Act as the designated AML Compliance Officer (AMLCO), managing regulatory engagement with AUSTRAC and other authorities.
  3. Oversee transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, and high-risk customer reviews.
  4. Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
  5. Lead and develop a growing team of financial crime specialists.
  6. Drive a strong culture of compliance, delivering advisory and training across the organisation.
Qualifications
  1. Extensive experience in AML/CTF compliance (ideally 10+ years).
  2. Proven leadership in highly regulated industries such as gaming, casinos, or financial services.
  3. Prior appointment as an AMLCO or in a senior AML/CTF leadership role.
  4. Strong knowledge of Australian AML/CTF legislation and experience working with AUSTRAC.
  5. ACAMS certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  6. Open to candidates willing to relocate to Adelaide.
