Responsibilities

A Business Analyst specializing in Identity Access Management (IDAM) is currently required for a 2 years fixed term assignment to join an IT Transformation Program. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the IAM framework. You will be thoroughly involved in the discovery and design activities related to the implementation of an IAM solution, playing a critical role in ensuring it aligns with business objectives, effectively manages user access, and complies with relevant standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze business requirements for IAM solutions.
• Examine current and proposed business processes to ensure they are aligned with IAM policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Create detailed documentation, including use cases, functional specifications, and process flows, to support the implementation and maintenance of IAM systems.
• Participate in testing and validation of IAM solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and security standards.
• Ensure that IAM solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to business requirements and processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize IAM processes and solutions.
• Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for identity and access management, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
• Document business rules, data flows, and integration points between Microsoft Entra ID and HCM, Payroll, and Finance systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to master data management and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure the identity management solution complies with relevant security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce access controls and audit trails.
• Develop training materials and support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of the new identity management solution.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for identity-related issues.

To be successful in this position you will be a highly experienced Business Analyst who has solid experience with IDAM and has an understanding of the concepts of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), and Privilege Access Management (PAM) as the core pillars of Identity access management. You will also be familiar with common IAM technologies, i.e., Active Directory, Azure AD (EntraID) and have a foundational understanding of security concepts like the principle of least privilege access.
