The Role

We are seeking a Health and Physical Education (HPE) Teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills and who display's a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students and colleagues. Previous experience, particularly with Outdoor Education will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant should have high expectations, display a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and can establish and maintain a positive learning environment. We value teachers who create and adapt resources to meet the learning needs of their students, who are willing to learn from peers and share their expertise within the team.

They should be flexible and able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. The sucessful applicant should possess strong communication and leadership skills which will be used to develop and promote the school's values, ethos, and priorities across the school community. They should build positive relationships with their students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students. They should be performance driven and use evidence based decision-making skills
