How do you make impact:

  1. Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and annual capacity tests on energy storage systems to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Address technical and operational issues promptly, conduct warranty repairs, and propose product improvements.
  3. Support the project team during the commissioning of battery energy storage systems and related equipment.
  4. Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers, maintaining and enhancing customer relationships through effective communication.
  5. Prepare and present analytical service reports, maintain accurate documentation related to site visits, and generate service work reports.
  6. Conduct risk assessments, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards.
  7. Serve as a local technical advisor in customer meetings and collaborate with the in-house system engineering group on product development.
  8. Communicate technical requirements to suppliers, evaluate supplier proposals, and ensure supplied equipment meets standards.
  9. Review, develop, and document quality standards, processes, tools, and techniques to enhance engineering efficiency.

This role involves traveling 70% - 80% of the time to support project commissioning and service the installed base. This may include overnight stays and international travel.

Your background:

  1. Tertiary or degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Over 7 years of practical experience in engineering execution and delivery of large power system projects, particularly in battery energy storage and other power generation fields.
  3. Extensive hands-on experience in power systems, power generation, and electrical engineering, with a strong focus on Drives, Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and HV/LV power electronics, including inverters, converters, and transformers.
  4. In-depth understanding of complex control system logic and hands-on proficiency with MODBUS protocols.
  5. Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities effectively.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high diligence and attention to detail.
