$26.70 per hour + leading hand allowance $58.93 per week

Cirka are a leading provider of cleaning services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and reliable cleaning solutions to various industries.

We have recently started providing our services for premium aged care facilities across the South-East Melbourne Area and are currently seeking hardworking , reliable and friendly team members who have great communication skills and supervising experience to join our team at Jewish Care facilities in Carnegie (1 Wahgoo Road Carnegie, Victoria 3163)

The positions

  • Full Time position
  • Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.

As a member our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within each residential home , ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and other workers .

Requirements

As you will be working within an aged care environment, you will need to provide proof of the below compliance documentation as part of the recruitment process :

  • Full Time working rights
  • A valid Police Check
  • An NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Necessary vaccinations (3 doses of Covid-19 vaccination and 2024 Flu vaccine) .
  • Willingness to take a free covid test on site at the start of each working day and wear mask throughout the entire shift.

As the Supervisoryou will be responsible for coordinating the work of Grade 1 Cleaners on site, being the first point of contact with our client and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered for them. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Attend daily briefings with our client and other contractors working onsite.
  • Completing equipment checks and reporting any issues to the Manager.
  • Working in a safe manner that does not disrupt others.
  • Managing people
  • Site inspections
  • Staff training
  • Indidents reports
  • Performance reviews

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong customer service skills and an ability to follow directions and work autonomously .Experience in cleaning is not essential as all training to complete your role effectively and safely will be provided.
