Seymour Health is seeking an enthusiastic Dentist to join our Oral Health Service.

The position is permanent part-time and an advantageous opportunity to achieve a health work life balance in a beautiful regional setting.

Our dentists are responsible for the provision of a broad range of clinical duties within the scope of publicly funded dental services.

Ideally You Will Possess

  • Appropriate dental qualifications and unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • 2 years experience as a General Dentist, in a wide range of oral health procedures for both adults and children
  • Victorian Radiation Operators Licence
  • A satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Check are essential prior to commencement.

About Seymour Health

Seymour Health (SH) is a leading small rural health service. At our campus in central Seymour, over 350 staff deliver a breadth of health and allied health services across our Seymour District Memorial Hospital, Urgent Care Centre, Ambulatory Care Centre and Barrabill House (aged care facility).

SH services include our Urgent Care Centre and a 30 bed public hospital that provides public and private acute medical and surgical, renal dialysis and day procedures. SH's breadth of services extends to post acute care, palliative care, sub-acute ambulatory services, oral health services, district nursing and community services. Barrabill House is a 40 bed residential aged care service that provides highly rated residential aged care.

The campus is conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service. We are only 45 minutes from the northern suburbs.

Closing Date

Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm Sunday 17th August 2025, however as this role is immediately available, early applications are encouraged.

All employment with Seymour Health is subject to and conditional upon a satisfactory Worker Screening Checks, which include: a Police Records Check and Statutory Declaration; Victorian Employee Working with Children Check; and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

All employees must comply with the Health Service's Vaccination requirements and Victorian Government and Department of Health immunisation directives. This requires all employees to be vaccinated and provided evidence of vaccination for various diseases, such as Influenza.Seniority level
