Overview

Mine Production Operators – FIFO Various Sites at Rio Tinto. FIFO roles across the Pilbara region with a roster that includes 8 days on / 6 days off and 7 nights on / 7 nights off blocks.

What you'll do
  • Safely operate large-scale mining equipment to extract iron ore and prepare it for processing and shipment.
  • Work as part of a high-performance mining operations team supporting delivery of Rio Tinto's production goals.
  • Be based on site with permanent employment and a competitive package including salary, annual bonuses and benefits.
Responsibilities
  • Operate loaders/diggers (examples: EX 2500, EX 3600, EX5600, LT 1850/2350, CAT 994, WA1200) and dozers (D10, D11) as part of production operations.
  • Operate graders (CAT 16, 18, 24) and auxiliary equipment (WA/WD900, FEL 992, CAT Wheel Dozer) with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Possess or obtain required qualifications and licenses to operate listed equipment and support open-cut production activities.
