Salary range: $33.83 per hour

This is an in-person, on-site role providing relief at sites in the Hawksbury Local Government Area. Shifts may occur between 8:00–9:30 AM and 2:30–4:00 PM, Monday to Friday during the school term, with a minimum of one hour per shift as required.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Road Safety Hero in the community, ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists.
  • Establish a familiar presence around the school and contribute to safe school travel.
  • Deliver safety outcomes and support community safety initiatives.

  • Reliable and prepared to show up for your community in all weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and alertness to potential dangers.
Requirements and training
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
  • All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will speed up the process.
