Overview

Join Thiess as an Auto Electrician in the Field Maintenance team on a 14/7 roster at the Iron Bridge project. You will work across a variety of ancillary equipment and be part of a team focused on upskilling and rewarding our workers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain ancillary plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet site maintenance schedules
  • Servicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systems
  • Read electrical schematics, diagnose, and repair 12/24V electrical systems
  • Attend in-field breakdowns and repair faults safely and efficiently
  • Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs
  • CAT and Liebherr experience highly desirable
About You
  • Trade certified auto electrical tradesperson
  • Proven experience in the maintenance of large-scale mobile equipment in a mining environment
  • Relevant post-trade experience
  • CAT and Liebherr experience highly desirable
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Current Standard 11
