We are currently working with a national and respected accounting firm who are on the search for a Senior Accountant/Associate to join their team.

Senior Accountant

As a Senior Associate/Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high quality accounting and tax services to a diverse range of clients.

Further, you will

Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements across various entity types.

Provide financial insights, contribute to tax planning, and assist with forecasting

Support the management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements

Utilise Xero and other accounting software to streamline workflows and enhance reporting

Support junior members in the team


Who are we looking for?

This opportunity would suit a motivated Accountant or Associate with demonstrated experience in an accounting firm, commercial or mid-tier/big 4. Role can be tailored to your level of experience.

Further, some of the skills we are looking for include:

Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent (essential)

CA or CPA qualified or on the way to becoming qualified (desirable)

Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals and/or business entities

Experience with Xero and other accounting software solutions

Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment

A proactive, client-focused approach to accounting and advisory services
