We're looking for a passionate Marketing Specialist / Assistant Brand Manager to support and report to our ANZ Marketing Manager. You'll help drive growth across direct-to-consumer (D2C), marketplaces, and retail partner channels throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns across D2C , marketplaces, and retail partner channels
  • Manage content creation and marketing materials for consumers, retailers, and stakeholders across the full marketing mix ensuring they comply with brand guidelines
  • Manage social media content planning, creation, scheduling and influencer collaborations
  • Manage PR and brand partnerships
  • Assist in providing marketing support for retail partners and the sales team, including promotions, visual merchandising, and marketing toolkits
  • Product management, including coordinating new product launches in Australia and New Zealand
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Specialist to assist in executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with global marketing and category teams to assist in aligning global strategies with local execution
  • Co-ordinate photo/video shoots and content localisation
  • Co-ordinate tradeshows, expos, and industry events
  • Maintain the marketing calendar across all channels, campaigns, promotions, and product launches
  • Assist in compiling marketing reporting and analytics.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, ideally in consumer products, retail, ecommerce, or pet-related industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Proficiency with tools such as; Shopify, Sprout Social, Klaviyo, Meta, Adobe CC, Canva, Meltwater, Microsoft Office, Jira and Asana
  • Strong copy writing and content creation skills for B2B and D2C audiences
  • Experience assisting with digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in PR, events, influencer and social media
  • Experience in product and brand management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with brand guidelines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Passion for pets and pet parents
