Overview

Public Facilities Cleaner role with opportunities for career growth within a supportive work environment. Located on the Central Coast, NSW.

Responsibilities
  • Clean designated public facilities to ensure environments are clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Carry out minor building repairs and graffiti vandalism painting where applicable to public amenities.
  • Notify and report on works requiring attention on public amenities.
  • Work independently as well as with team members; maintain attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To Be Successful In This Role
  • Current Class C Driver's License
  • Valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW WorkCover or equivalent or willing to obtain
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Information
  • The commencing salary for this position is up to $61.2K. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities up to a maximum salary of $73.5K on assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation + Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions
  • This is a permanent full-time role with a 9 day fortnight
  • Location: Long Jetty Depot or Erina Depot
