About the Role
The Technical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the teaching of Music, Drama, Media Art, Visual Art, and Design education within the Faculty of Education. Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of specialised facilities, equipment, and resources, the role ensures an optimal environment for both academic staff and students to engage in practical and creative learning. With a flexible and solution-focused mindset, you will anticipate the needs of educators and students, offering thoughtful and practical support to enhance their learning experience. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be essential in managing multiple priorities, while your sound judgement and problem-solving skills will allow you to navigate challenges with confidence and professionalism. Above all, you bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine passion for the creative and performing arts in education.

- Proficiency in both Mac and PC operating systems, along with experience using digital technologies, specialist software, and online platforms relevant to Art education.
- A strong understanding of ethical and safe working practices within Art education studios and performance spaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- The ability to apply technical expertise to support teaching practices, maintain and troubleshoot specialised equipment, and provide practical solutions to enhance the learning experience.
