The successful candidate will possess

  • Demonstrable track record as a leader within a complex commercial organisation or statutory authority comparable to VenuesWest.
  • Proven exceptional team leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to negotiate highly complex commercial contracts.
  • The ability to think critically, navigate ambiguity and analyse macroeconomic/market trends.
  • Demonstrated experience anticipating industry shifts as well as the ability to act with agility in a fast-paced environment and effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.

1. Extensive expertise and experience as a CEO or senior leader in a complex commercial or statutory authority environment, including commitment to a strong and unwavering safety and risk management culture.

4. Demonstrated agility in a fast-paced environment, effectively engaging both internal and external stakeholders; ability to successfully navigate ambiguity to achieve VenuesWest's strategy, in line with WA government priorities.
