In this rewarding role, you'll provide safe and comfortable transport for our residents, ensuring they get to appointments, outings, and other Uniting locations with care and dignity. You'll also lend a hand when needed, becoming a valued part of our supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely transport residents and clients to various destinations, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Assist with mobility support, helping residents enter and exit the bus with ease.
• Supervise and care for passengers during transit and outings.
• Monitor and arrange vehicle maintenance, repairs and daily safety checks.
• Step in to support care staff when needed, contributing to a warm and inclusive environment.

What We're Looking For

• A current MR or LR licence and proven experience in bus driving.
• A genuine passion for working with older people and those with diverse needs, including dementia, developmental disabilities and psychiatric illnesses.
• Certificate III in Aged Care (desirable but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• A good understanding of local road networks.
• Commitment to safety, inclusivity, and Uniting's values.
