About this role

As a Copywriter you'll be part of Stake Create – an in-house team of fellow writers, designers and motion editors. It's the creative heart of the dynamic Marketing department, the custodians of the exciting Stake brand, where progress is tangible and your impact is highly valued.

Mentored by an experienced creative and supported by a workflow manager, you'll take briefs from different squads and departments.

Your creative flair, collaborative attitude and flawless writing skills will help you deliver engaging, elegant copy and ideas across a variety of formats, in line with Stake's guidelines.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative Copywriter looking to explore life outside of agencies. You'll focus all your energy in shaping an ambitious brand and making a real impact on its growth, bolstering our exciting edge in the financial services space.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Marketing team to execute briefs in alignment with brand objectives and target audience preferences.
• Creating concepts for ads and initiatives that drive our fame and engage our audience.
• Crafting compelling copy for a variety of marketing channels, including website content, social media posts, email campaigns, in-app notifications, advertising materials, out-of-home and more.
• Learning and consistently applying Stake's voice and tone across all communication channels.
• Liaising with the design and motion team to bring your comms to life.
• Meeting deadlines to deliver projects on time, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Being able to occasionally pick up approved concepts to roll out across a variety of deliverables.
• Editing and proofreading copy created in other departments to make it clear, concise, grammatically correct and fit for Stake's voice.

About you

To fit this role, you must have at least 3 years of advertising agency experience in a creative department. More than well-written copy, you can show us a portfolio of ads or creative ideas. Prior experience with financial services clients is preferred, but not essential.
