Overview

Join Clough for the Trades Assistant role on the Woodman Point project. Clough is delivering the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs.

The project scope includes upgrading the facility\'s sludge treatment processing system to enable biosolids recovery for agricultural use, with biogas as a potential energy by-product.

We currently have opportunities for Trade Assistants to commence immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and other assistance to Tradespersons.
  • Perform general unskilled hand duties.
  • Use machines, equipment and tools within training boundaries in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
  • Execute work in line with quality procedures and safety requirements.
  • Perform Storeperson functions such as unpacking and checking orders, labelling parts for proper identification and tracking, organising inventory and picking orders.
  • Perform Materials Laydown crew functions such as unloading and checking off materials in site laydowns, labelling parts for identification and tracking, and packing materials for delivery to construction sites.
  • Operate Materials Handling plant such as telehandlers, trucks and semi-trailers.
Qualifications
  • Construction White/Blue Card
  • Current Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence
  • Current Australian "HR" Class Drivers licence (Highly Desired)
  • Telehandler Licence (Highly Desired)
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (Desired)
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP (Desired)
  • Water Cart Licence
