Overview

As a trainer, you will play a key role in providing support to the team in the successful delivery of the AMEP or SEE program.

The opportunity
  • Use your experience to engage students, employ effective learning techniques, and maintain a student-centred approach
  • Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
  • Bring learning to life for students and use various communication methods to achieve positive outcomes
  • Conduct pre-training assessments and tailor training to meet contract requirements
About you
  • Be a driven, supportive, and community-minded person, working with disadvantaged learners and non-English speakers to help them build future opportunities through learning
  • Have the capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Possess strong knowledge of the VET sector and the National Standards for RTOs (2015)
  • Have excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within your vocational area

Qualifications:

  • Current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus a Bachelor with TESOL, or
  • An undergraduate degree with a postgraduate qualification in TESOL or equivalent, or willingness to complete one
  • Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework is preferred
